Ahh, the age-old question, friends. First pondered by famed English poet Alfred, Lord Tennyson, who concluded, "'Tis better to have loved and lost/Than never to have loved at all." Was he right? And I'm not just talking about romantic love here; it can be the love you have for your best friend, your parents, your siblings, even your cat. The road of life is tough -- there's no getting around that. There's no detour that we can take to avoid it. I'd rather love with all my heart and risk losing it all than wall myself off to everything.
